Flare Dance Ensemble Flare is a student-run dance club that holds classes for our members with styles ranging from ballet, contemporary, hip-hop and other choreography.

What is MYS?
Mid Year Showcase is a non auditioned performance showcase catered towards beginner choreographers and dancers with rehearsals that take place over the winter holidays.

⭐️BUT THIS YEAR WE ARE INTRODUCING A NEW SEGMENT FOR OUR EXPERIENCED CHOREOGRAPHERS AND DANCERS⭐️

Dancers will have the opportunity to form a crew and compete in a choreography competition.

Interested? Submissions for MYS choreographers and competition crews are due 11:59pm on 15 June. Don’t miss out!

Please note dancers who participate in the competition segment will not be able to dance in multiple crews, and will only be able to join one MYS piece cast.

Hey Flarians!

We’re excited to announce a music video opportunity in collaboration with Flare alums Moeka Minami, Annabel Shaw and Lewis Nicolson.

The project will run on Wednesday nights in June and July. The shoot is on 25/26 of July, which unfortunately means you will have to pick between participating in this project and Mid Year Showcase.

Casting for Production is happening this weekend! Both Saturday and Sunday will run on the same schedule, and you are only required to attend one out of the two days. Video auditions are open for those who cannot attend in person.

Also make sure to fill out the Production Casting Form in our bio prior to Saturday auditions.
