61st Carlingford NSW Boys' Brigade Boys' Brigade helps boys and girls to find their confidence in a Christian environment. We love fun challenge and adventure.

The Boys' Brigade is one of the world's oldest youth groups for boys, founded in Scotland in 1883. The modern day BB is found worldwide and consists of local groups attached to a church. It is a Christian based organisation with a focus on providing boys with a fun environment in which they can develop friendships, attain badges for skills and hobbies, learn about Christ and have opportunities for

gaining leadership skills. A typical program will include games, Bible story and activities that can lead towards gaining awards in areas such as Expedition, Environment, Community Service, Hobbies, Sport, Scripture Knowledge and others. Other activities boys can join in are an Australia-wide Pan Camp, company camps, caving adventures, mountain biking, swimming competitions, billycart derbys and visits to places of an educational or entertainment interest. BB has three age groups:The youngest is the Anchors section with boys from kindy to age 8; Juniors from age 9 to the end of primary school; and Seniors who are high school age. Boys can also stay on to become leaders.
