Cinema in the Suburbs - Carina Cinema in the Suburbs is a much-loved community event hosted by Mayfield State School, in Carina. Entry via Royds Street Carina

Bring a picnic, blanket and chair and enjoy a movie after dark at Cinema in the Suburbs. A family afternoon of fun including rides, market stalls, competitions and raffles supporting Mayfield State School. Watch the movie on the large LED Screen, enjoy food from our range of on-site food trucks and beverages from our bar for young and old. Following the movie enjoy Carina's best fireworks display

which never disappoints!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came along to Cinema in the Suburbs 2025 – what an amazing community we have! From the food trucks and rides, to the movie under the stars and our fireworks finale, it truly was a night to remember 🎬✨🎆
