As the year comes to a close, the Cardwell Lions Club would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supports the work we do.

To our dedicated volunteers — thank you for giving your time, energy and care to our community throughout the year. Your commitment truly makes a difference.

To our supporters — thank you for standing alongside us and helping us turn ideas into action.

And to the Cardwell community — thank you for your kindness, generosity and ongoing support. Everything we do is for this community, and we are proud to serve such a strong and caring town.

We wish you all a very Merry Christmas, a safe and relaxing holiday season, and a happy and healthy New Year. We look forward to continuing to support Cardwell in the year ahead.

🎄 Thank You – 2025 Lions Seniors Christmas Luncheon 🎄

The Cardwell Lions Club would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make our 2025 Lions Seniors Christmas Luncheon on Sunday 14 December such a special occasion.

This year marked our 58th Lions Christmas Luncheon, and once again it was a wonderful opportunity to say thank you to our senior citizens for everything they have contributed to our beautiful town over the years.

A huge thank you to the Cardwell Lions members and volunteers who generously gave their time — not only on the day of the luncheon, but also during the days of preparation beforehand and the clean-up afterwards.

Your commitment, teamwork and care are what make events like this possible.

We would also like to sincerely thank Adrift Café for the delicious roast meal, which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone in attendance.

Our gratitude also extends to the local businesses, service clubs and organisations who so generously donated prizes and monetary contributions towards the lunch.

Your support truly reflects the strong community spirit we are so proud of in Cardwell.

As we all know, not a lot gets done without an army of volunteers who step up time and time again — and this luncheon was a perfect example of what can be achieved when a community works together.

Thank you all for helping us continue this cherished Cardwell Loins tradition 💛🦁
