Our CWA of WA state AGM/conference 2926
“International Year of the Woman Farmer 2026”
This last year 2025/2026 Country of study chosen was Ukraine or “Seeds of Peace”project.
And the Sunflower 🌻 is the country’s state flower.
So all State Branches were offered to enter in either 2 topic category competitions or a sunflower 🌻 panel towards the overall collective mural.
Our wonderful industriously International Officer - Diana Fisher made the box diorama which contains all the elements she taught us about Ukraine and organised our sunflower 🌻 panel contribution for our Branch, with each member making a sunflower petal towards it.

💙CWA of WA Award Presentations - Clarice Rudduck award of which we won’t last year and this year shared again with Mandurah and Northampton branches taking out the award.

💙 Agnes Barnes famous CWA of WA Cookery Book and Household Hints celebrates its 90th birthday 🥳 this year with a special edition released. A birthday cake cutting with all the past CWA of WA past Presidents cutting it.
💙CWA Members acknowledged for those who’ve past. Touching to see our Capel Branch member Marian Diaz name there.
