Introducing: Chris Junge

Chris Junge is Chairperson of the Health & Care Working Group for the Redlands Regional Jobs Committee.

With more than three decades working across the healthcare sector, Chris brings extensive experience in hospital operations, leadership and workforce management both nationally and internationally.

Chris is currently the General Manager of Mater Private Hospital Redland and is passionate about creating strong workplace cultures, supporting healthcare professionals and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.

As part of the RJC, Chris is helping lead important discussions and initiatives focused on addressing workforce shortages and future workforce needs across the health, aged care and disability sectors.

Introducing: Gordon MacGregor

Gordon MacGregor is Chairperson of the Hospitality & Tourism Working Group for the Redlands Regional Jobs Committee.

Gordon is the founder, owner and Head Chef of Wellington Point Farmhouse. Having started in the kitchen at just 13 years old, his hospitality and tourism career has literally taken him around the world.

Gordon brings extensive industry experience, strong leadership and a genuine passion for strengthening the future hospitality and tourism workforce across the Redlands Coast.

The creation of this new Hospitality & Tourism Workforce Facebook Group was also one of Gordon’s first initiatives as Working Group Chair β€” helping create a more connected and collaborative local industry network.

The Health & Hospital Pathways Program is coming to REDLANDS and is creating real opportunities for locals to gain skills, confidence and pathways into employment in hospitals and healthcare.

πŸ•˜ Training runs 3 days per week for 4 weeks, plus optional 2 weeks work experience.

This fantastic program is proudly delivered by ETC in partnership with Metro South Health and supported through the Queensland Government’s Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative.
