“Up to 150,000 Australians could die from the coronavirus under a worst case scenario, the Morrison government says, as it considers advice on restricting visits to pubs, cinemas and aged care homes.
Deputy Chief Medical Officer Paul Kelly said that the number of infections could reach 20-60% of the population. He asked the public to comply with social distancing.”
And
“His expertise, leadership and advice helped Australia successfully navigate the Covid-19 pandemic – the country’s largest public health response in over 100 years,” Mr Butler said.
“Professor Kelly’s constant presence, technical expertise and clear communication provided reassurance to the public and critical advice to governments at a time of extreme uncertainty.”

Another bureaucrat who is being praised instead of condemned.
Paul Kelly made overstated claims about the threat of Covid. His widely exaggerated claims were used to impose harsh unnecessary measures that resulted in a great deal of suffering for many.
In particular the tens of thousands of healthy people who were injured by the vaccine.
He along with others are responsible for the thousands of deaths from the vaccine in 2021.
Like the other cowards, he takes no responsibility for those deaths that were a direct result of his actions.
Unfortunately this lack of accountability has become the norm for governments today.
