Whitsunday Scout Group is looking for volunteer Scout Leaders to join our friendly, supportive team.

You don’t need scouting experience just enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to get involved. Training and support are provided.

What you’ll do:
🔥 Help run fun weekly sessions
🏕️ Support camps, outdoor adventures & community activities
🌱 Build confidence, resilience, and teamwork in local kids
🤝 Be part of a positive community group

Who we’re looking for:
✔ Adults aged 18+
✔ Enjoy working with young people
✔ Can commit to regular meetings (even if not every week)
✔ Parents, carers, community members all welcome

🪪 Must be eligible for a working with vulnerable people check.
👮 Police check

Volunteering with Scouts is incredibly rewarding and a great way to give back to your community while having fun outdoors.

We have programs for cubs (8-11yr) and scouts(11- 14 yrs). Starting back next Wednesday 4th Feb in Cannonvale from 5:30pm to 7pm.

Good luck to all scouts starting a new school year tomorrow, especially to my scouts starting year 7. I am such a proud leader to see you all grow.

IT IS OFFICIAL!!! Proserpine Scout Group has been renamed to Whitsunday Scout Group to more accurately represent the areas we serve.

"The Whitsundays" encompasses all the towns within our service area, making it a more accurate reflection of our community.
