Burger don a Tourist city in Australia

Bungendore has been named Australia’s Best Small Tourism Town for 2025. Located just 40 minutes from Canberra, the regional NSW town took out gold at the national awards this morning.

Canberra Region Tourism Industry Council CEO Dr Naomi Dale said with so many extraordinary destinations across Australia, it was a huge achievement for the Canberra region to be recognised on the national stage.

“Bungendore is truly a shining gem within the Canberra region, steeped in history, alive with vibrant food and wine experiences, and surrounded by our world-class cool climate vineyards,” Dr Dale said.
