Volunteer Opportunity!

Yalari invites volunteers to join us at the Reds vs Fijian Drua (Indigenous Round) 50-50 Charity Raffle on Friday 29 May at Suncorp Stadium.

The QLD Reds are long-standing partners of Yalari. Through the 50-50 Charity Raffle, 50% of the prize pool goes to one lucky winner — and the remaining 50% is to support Yalari's mission in educating Indigenous children.

You'll be at the heart of the match-day action, helping manage raffle entries while soaking up the atmosphere with the rest of the Yalari volunteer team.

We'd love to have you and your team involved in the Indigenous Round celebration.

Yalari alumni on their L’s can access 5 free driving lessons* thanks to RACV.

Gain confidence, log book hours and independence. Lessons can add up to 22.5 logbooks hours for QLD and NSW Learners (thanks to the 3-for-1 Program).

We recently held an all-staff workshop, a time where Yalari comes together from all over the country to connect and look to the future. It was so special to see so many Alumni faces in the room, who have gone on the journey from student to staff and are shaping our organisation in roles like board directors, student support officers and Yalari interns. Seeing alumni step into leadership, give back, and guide the next generation of Yalari scholars is an incredibly powerful full-circle moment displaying growth, legacy and community in action.

Big news - Preston Campbell is joining us on Country. Don't miss your chance to be part of the powerful men's camp!

Over a few powerful days on Country, you’ll trek through places like Mt Sonder and the Ormiston Pound Walk, share meaningful yarns, and strengthen body, mind and spirit. Expect a mix of cultural experiences, swimming spots, boulder hopping, campfires, storytelling and plenty of laughs.

Sleeping under the stars and walking the red earth each day will deepen your connection to Country, culture and community - and leave you with memories and friendships that last well beyond the camp.

Join us for Yalari’s first-ever Alumni Men’s Camp at Ormiston Gorge, NT, an unforgettable experience of challenge, culture, growth and connection.

Over several days, you’ll hike Country together (including Mt Sonder and the Ormiston Pound Walk), share meaningful yarns, and build strength in body, mind and spirit. There will be a smoking ceremony, swimming, boulder hopping, cultural activities, camp fires, storytelling and plenty of laughs.

With nights spent sleeping under the stars and days walking the red earth, this camp will deepen your connection to Country, culture and community, and leave you with memories and friendships that last well beyond the trip.

Warrior Spirit is a fully funded, 4‑day military‑style leadership development course held at Gallipoli Barracks in Brisbane from Friday 24th April to Tuesday 28th April 2026.

Designed to stretch participants beyond their comfort zones, the program builds resilience, sharpens teamwork, and creates space for deep self‑reflection and personal growth. Pathways Tertiary Scholarship – Now Open for Final‑Year Students!

Are you a Yalari alum heading into the FINAL year of your full-time university degree? This is a great opportunity to get some extra support as you work toward graduation.

Eligibility: This opportunity is open to alumni in their final year of study who have not previously been supported by a Yalari Pathways Scholarship.

The Pathways Tertiary Scholarship provides practical financial assistance to help cover the real costs of study - so you can stay focused, confident, and set yourself up for success in your final year.
