The Gordon Community Centre is delighted to continue its collaboration with Homemade Cards for Seniors and warmly invites community members to our next gathering.

If you enjoy making cards and would love to connect with others who share your passion, this is a wonderful opportunity to get involved. Together, we create heartfelt handmade cards for seniors in hospitals, aged care facilities, and dementia services, helping bring joy and connection to those who may be feeling isolated.

Ready for a night of burritos, brainwaves and a whole lot of laughs? 😄

The Lake Tuggeranong Lions Club invites you to join us for our Burritos ’n Brainwaves Trivia Night! All funds raised going towards supporting the Pantries at Gordon Community Centre and Mura Lanyon Youth and Community Centre.

Bring your partner, friends, family or your favourite trivia teammate and come along for a fun night out! 🌯🍻🧠

🌿 A Fresh Look for Our Community Space🌿

Our gardens have been shaped by many helping hands over the years through working bees, donated plants, and ongoing care from volunteers and community members.

A huge thank you to Nate and Tara from Little Luxton, who generously funded recent landscaping improvements, including new plantings, fresh soil, retaining wall upgrades and additional seating.

These outdoor spaces are enjoyed by playgroup families, Pantry visitors, volunteers, community groups, hirers and café patrons. We hope these improvements provide even more opportunities for people to gather, connect and enjoy time at the Centre.

Thank you, Nate, Tara and the Little Luxton team, for investing in a space that benefits our whole community. 💚🌱

Playgroup Cancelled Tomorrow

Unfortunately, due to the wet weather and landscaping works currently taking place around the centre, we have made the decision not to run Playgroup tomorrow morning.

Our friends at ☕ Little Luxton Café will still be open, and the outdoor play area will be available for families to use. Temporary fencing will be in place while works continue.

You're welcome to drop in, however there will be no organised Playgroup session or activities.

The weather is changing and perhaps your drawers are getting crazy!
Come along to Coffee, Chat and Do to learn the art of folding!
Helen is a wiz at folding clothes and linen to fit any space, be accessible and easily visible. Coffee, Chat and Do is a community skill sharing group that meets every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month. It's Free and we would love to meet you!

🌱 A little extra activity at the Centre tomorrow! 🚜

Tomorrow morning, we'll have some landscaping work taking place around the Centre, and you might even spot a little digger hard at work!

To help keep everyone safe and give the workers the space they need, Playgroup will be held indoors.

We'll still have plenty of fun with indoor play, including parachute games, music, and lots of opportunities for little ones to play, explore and connect. 🎶🌈
