It was inaugurated by Shri Dushyant Shridhar with the primary objective of preserving and promoting Hindu culture and values among the Australian Hindu community residing in Canberra. Recognising the importance of passing on these traditions to the younger generation, CHS aims to keep Hindu culture relevant in contemporary society. As a not-for-profit organisation registered in Australia, CHS is c

These events, typically held once a month, are designed to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of Hindu heritage, spirituality, and traditions. Importantly, CHS events are non-political and non-entertainment in nature, emphasising cultural and educational aspects. Through its initiatives, CHS seeks to create a cohesive community of Australian Hindus in Canberra, providing a platform for individuals and families to connect, learn, and celebrate their shared cultural heritage. By promoting inclusivity and unity, CHS aims to empower individuals to uphold Hindu values and principles in their everyday lives while contributing positively to the broader Australian society.
