After a successful morning tea at Pearce last week, it’s now Holts turn!
Our Holt teams will be hosting their Biggest Morning Tea today between 10:00am and 11:30am at the Holt Community Hall, Beaurepaire Cres, Holt.
Please come and show our teams and the Cancer council some support.
There will be food options for $5 and tea, coffee and juice for $2, remember to bring cash!

Tomorrow we are hosting our Biggest Morning tea at Pearce, in support of the Cancer Council.
We hope to see you at the Pearce Community Centre between 10am and 11:30am on Tuesday, 16 June.

May is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and Sharing Places' managers and team leaders will be taking part in a training program presented by WWILD SVP-Assn. inc. on recognising and responding to domestic, family and sexual violence.

This training has been developed alongside people who have a disability and workers from both the disability and domestic, family and sexual violence sectors in the ACT.

Our upcoming conference is a two-day exploration of typical and ordinary options for creating a home that is unique to each individual with disability.

Our speakers will demonstrate that the nature of a person’s impairment doesn’t prevent them from living in their own place, and that there are clever ways support can be put in place to ensure every person with disability is well supported to thrive.

Who should attend?
People with disability, their families, friends, allies, and the professionals who support them.
