Adamas Nexus is a Not for Profit charity providing life-long post-crisis support group for women who have been the recipient of any form of domestic violence and sexual abuse. Adamas Nexus is a 'post-crisis' support group for women, or those who identify as women, who have been the recipient of any form of family and domestic violence - FDV (emotional, physical, verbal, financial, p

sychological, sexual, spiritual, etc). We help each other by sharing our experience, understanding and support through those days, months and years after the crisis has occurred. We believe that every woman that has come out the other side of crisis has that kernel of light, that diamond within them still - it needs to be unearthed to re-engage their belief, power and worth. Adamas means 'diamond, indestructible, invincible, unconquerable'. Nexus means 'binding together or a connection linking to one or more things'. Our meetings are of a similar format to 12-step programs, such as Al-Anon, where there is a theme for the meeting and each person attending has the opportunity to share and have their say.
