We’re looking for a Merch Designer to help bring the next round of ANU Q***r* Dept merch to life! 👕🖊️

This is a paid opportunity to create designs for the department and put your work out into the world (and, more importantly, onto a bunch of q***r people’s tote bags if that’s your vision)

Whether you’re an illustrator, graphic designer, artist, professional doodler, or just have a suspiciously good eye for making things look cool, we want to hear from you 🫵

Come along for a relaxed, creative session celebrating Wear It Purple Day—Q***r Youth Visibility Day. No need to be an artist, no need to identify as q***r — just come hang out, get creative, and connect to raise awareness 💜

🧢 Paint your own baseball cap
🐸 Paint a purple or Toad tote bag
🏷️ Decorate with custom badges

Come as you are as 🎨 Colourful fabric paints, art supplies, and 🍪 Snacks are provided!

we rolled back into the second semester with our regular events, a new first-year exclusive event (which might even become one of our regular events... stay tuned to find out 👀) and to top it all off - Q***r* Ball 2026 was a blockbuster success! those who were there know ball (pun intended) 🌟
