We are so incredibly grateful to Roundabout Canberra for their extraordinary generosity and partnership in our 2025 Christmas Hamper Appeal.

This year, Roundabout Canberra helped us provide gifts to 50 children who have a parent or family member in prison, children who are so often overlooked at this time of year. Their kindness, efficiency and genuine care have made a huge impact on our community.

Thank you, Roundabout Canberra, for standing with us and for helping ensure every child feels seen, valued and celebrated this Christmas.❤️

We were proud to support with gifts for 50 children as part of their 2025 Christmas Hamper Appeal. These hampers go to children with a parent or family member in prison – children who are so often overlooked at this time of year.

They shared this feedback with us:

Their generosity allowed us to provide gifts to 50 children in our Christmas Hamper Appeal for 2025 to assist these children with a parent or family member in prison, children who are so often overlooked. The compassion, efficiency, and genuine care shown by the Roundabout team made a huge difference to our community.”

They also shared a moment that stayed with their staff. When a family collected their hampers yesterday, the children were so excited they sat down on the floor straight away to unpack them, beaming with huge smiles. A simple, joyful moment made possible by the community coming together.

✨ PAACT Hamper Appeal 2025 – Our Biggest Year Yet! ✨

Over the past few months, many of you have followed along as our Fundraising Committee, led by Hayley, Danielle and Billie, worked tirelessly to bring this year’s Hamper Appeal to life. With the leadership of our President, Peta, and the incredible generosity of our community, we are so proud to announce that we packed 300 Christmas hampers for individuals and families impacted by the justice system.

These hampers are more than food and gifts.
They are hope, dignity, connection, and a reminder that no one is forgotten at Christmas, not parents separated from their children, not families doing it tough, and not those rebuilding their lives after incarceration.

None of this would have been possible without the kindness and support of our community.

A massive thank you to everyone who helped, whether you donated, shared a post, collected items, or joined us today. You made this happen.

🎁 A Huge Thank You to Minto Disability Services! 🎁

We are absolutely blown away by the generosity of Minto Disability Services, who have donated over 500 branded products to support our 2025 Prisoners Aid ACT Christmas Hamper Appeal.

With our Hamper Packing Day just 4 days away, this donation couldn’t have come at a better time. Your support will help us fill hundreds of hampers for individuals and families across the ACT who are impacted by the justice system, bringing comfort, dignity, and a little extra joy during a difficult time of year.

Our friends at First Nation Floors have generously donated 200 lollies and 120 Weet-Bix for our Christmas Hamper Packing Day! ❤️

🎄 Hamper Update! 🎄

Look at this incredible haul that just came in today with the help of Simply Helping ACT, long-life milk, noodles, juices, zooper doopers and more! ❤️ A massive thank you to everyone who has donated so far. Every single item is helping us get closer to packing 500 hampers for families impacted by the justice system this Christmas.

We’re now turning our focus to custard and tins of crushed tomatoes, two pantry staples we still need lots more of.

We are so excited to share that Lakeside Leisure Centre has generously supported our Christmas Hamper Appeal by donating 10 family pool passes for local families in need. 💛💦

What an amazing addition to our hampers this summer, a chance for families to cool off, have fun, make memories, and enjoy a day out together. These experiences mean so much, especially for families doing it tough.
