E3 Global Adventures Volunteer Group were invited to the Australian Embassy, Nepal Kathmandu to meet the Ambassador to Nepal, Leann Johnston...🇦🇺🇳🇵

The group used the opportunity to talk with the Ambassador about their experiences in Nepal and promote the great work of the Foundation.

In return, Leann spoke extensively about the current political, economic and social situation in Nepal, as well as sharing detail about the development collaborations currently underway between the two countries.

A fantastic experience for the group.

A group of 16 Australians, organised by Nic and Pam’s E3 Global Adventures, spent four meaningful days in Dhital, Kaski, working on a Community Project coordinated by the Foundation.

The scope of the project was to build four goat sheds and provide two goats to each of four families as part of the Foundation’s Village Sustainability Project. This initiative aims to create a sustainable source of income through goat breeding, empowering families to improve their livelihoods and enabling them to support their children—especially girls—in accessing education.

In addition to the main project, the team also renovated and painted an amenities block, built steps within the school compound to make access easier for students, and distributed sporting, educational and other materials.

Warm jackets generously donated by Queenstown Alpine Ski Team in Queenstown, NZ were also distributed to community members.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed their time and generosity to make this project a success.

A little child shall lead them: In Nepal’s Gandaki province, a young student takes her turn affixing a screw into one of the panels adorning the peace pole donated to the Shree Barahi Primary School by the Rotary Club of Hall, Australia. Working with the REACH for Nepal Foundation, the Hall club helped rebuild several schools in central Nepal, constructing earthquake-resistant classrooms and installing water and sanitation upgrades.

Canberrans are making a difference in Nepal, a decade after the devastating 2015 earthquake killed almost 9000 people

A group of Year 10 & 11 students from Canberra Grammar School has spent the past two weeks in Nepal, immersing themselves in the country's rich culture & trekking through its breathtaking mountains.

Over the last three days, the students have contributed to the construction of Australian-designed Earthquake Resilient Classrooms, supporting ongoing efforts to strengthen education infrastructure in rural communities.

This visit marks the 10th anniversary of the devastating 2015 earthquakes, which claimed over 9,000 lives.
