Join us for a glittering, absolutely camp night out as we raise funds for the SpringOUT 2026 season.

MC Wayne Herbert will host a drag marathon featuring Venus Mantrap, Guy Alias, Faux Nee Phish, Estella Queen B, Fieldsy, Myth Meltdown, Zapp Backagain, Ty Zahn, Mother Scott Milk, plus a very special performance by the Illustrious House of Iris and DJ Raydar spinning beats until late.

There will also be a raffle and a live auction of amazing items.

It all starts at 8pm on Saturday 25 July at ChiChiz, an accessible venue. This is an over 18s event.

Tickets are $20 / $15 SpringOUT members + concession (plus booking fee) via Humanitix or $25 / $20 on the door, if available. So book early to avoid disappointment and support SpringOUT!

A major win for trans rights!

The Full Court of the Federal Court has upheld the right of trans women to live free from discrimination, confirming that Roxanne Tickle was unlawfully excluded from the Giggle for Girls app because she is trans.

In a judgment handed down in Sydney on Friday, the Court dismissed an appeal by Sall Grover, finding that Ms Tickle was directly discriminated against on two counts because of her gender identity.

The Court also increased damages to $20,000 after taking into account Ms Grover’s aggravating conduct.

For decades, Australian law has recognised that a person’s legal s*x is not limited to the s*x they were assigned at birth — any other interpretation would deny the reality and existence of trans people.

The decision affirms that trans women, like all women, deserve to live safely, participate fully in society, and be treated with dignity and respect.
