This is a new travel regulation by the Government of India starting 01 October 2025.

Here’s a simple guide for you:

What is the Digital Disembarkation (DE) Card?

It is an online arrival form that all foreign travellers (non-Indians) must fill before coming to India.

It replaces the physical disembarkation card that used to be filled inside the flight or at the airport.

Who needs to fill it?

✅ All foreign travellers arriving in India (tourists, business visitors, OCI holders, medical travellers, etc.).
❌ Indian citizens do not need to fill this.

When to fill it?

It must be completed within 72 hours before your flight to India.

Without it, you may face delays or be stopped at immigration.

Where to fill it?

1. Official Website: indianvisaonline.gov.in/earrival

2. Mobile App: Indian Visa Suswagatam (available in app stores).

⚠ Avoid agents or third-party sites. Always use the official portal/app.

What details will you need?

Passport information

Visa or e-visa details

Flight details (PNR, airline, seat if available)

Stay address in India (hotel, hospital, or host address)

Health/travel history (basic questions)

Why is it important?

It speeds up immigration clearance.

It helps Indian authorities with border control, health safety, and security checks.

It is mandatory from 01 Oct 2025 – no card, no entry.
