Sometimes the best fundraising ideas come straight from kids themselves 💛

Lomani, Ruby, Alexandra and Sienna, four Year 6 classmates at Kincoppal-Rose Bay School, dreamed up "Garage Sale 4 Good" for their school service project. They collected pre-loved treasures, baked over a hundred sweet treats, and even tap danced and sang for donations 🎶

Together they raised more than $860 for Bricks & Smiles 🎉 That's nearly three LEGO grants for kids going through cancer treatment.

Thank you, girls, and everyone in your community who came along. We love seeing kids helping kids ❤️🧱

What a day. What a team. What an impact! 🧱💙

On Sunday 9 August, Team Bricks & Smiles took on the 2026 City2Surf - 14km from the city to Bondi - with Zac in our hearts and the kids we support front of mind.

And thanks to our incredible community, the team raised $8,663 from over 120 donations 🙌

Every dollar helps give a child in cancer treatment the chance to choose their own dream LEGO build — a little bit of creativity, distraction and joy during a really tough time.

A huge thank you to our wonderful runners, and to everyone who donated, shared, and cheered us on. You turned a Sunday morning run into something so much bigger. 💛

500 smiles. 🧱

Somewhere in a hospital ward this week, a child in cancer treatment tipped a box of bricks onto their tray table and got happily, completely lost in building something brilliant — and became our 500th dream LEGO set.

Five hundred kids. Thirteen hospitals. Every state and territory. Nearly three years of turning your generosity into joy on the hardest days.

Thank you to everyone who's been part of it — every runner, rider, cake-stall baker (hi Marylou 💛), volunteer and donor. You built this, brick by brick, in Zac's memory.
