Due to a competing event in Garema Place, we are now rallying at Petrie Plaza (in front of the carousel).
We are still in Canberra Civic, only a few metres away from the original location.
Accessibility info, maps and march route will be posted the day before the rally.

Can't make it on the weekend?
We know that not everyone can make it to a rally in person.

You can fill out this form to send us your name or a pseudonym. We will write these names on a placard to march with on the day, as a 'missing persons' list.

You can also message the page if you would like to contribute a statement to be read out by the rally chair.

We will do our best to organise a livestream so you can still take part virtually on the day - stay tuned for details of this.

Join us on Saturday 13 June to rally for these demands.

Share this post and spread the word - we need people with disabilities, community members, workers, family, friends and supporters to show up and show out. Together we can put pressure on the ACT and Federal Governments, during ACT Budget Week and Federal Senate Inquiry hearings, and rally for disability supports for all.

NO TO NDIS CUTS RALLY CANBERRA
Saturday 13 June 2pm

The disability community, workers and allies will be rallying at Garema Place to demand a stop to NDIS Cuts, scrapping the NDIS Amendment Bill legislation, and fully funded foundational supports in the territory.

THIS WEDNESDAY!

Calling Canberra/Ngunnawal/Ngambri folks to a meeting to plan the next steps in our campaign to stop the NDIS cuts.

We will be discussing capacity for a rally on Saturday 13 June, or alternative strategies. We will be campaigning to stop the cuts to the NDIS, and to fight for publicly funded disability supports available to everyone.

At the meeting we will discuss the details of the cuts and the proposed legislation, the demands of our campaign and different strategies, and how we will outreach and grow our campaign.

All are welcome - NDIS participants, people with disabilities, community and supporters. We need a huge movement to stop these cuts.
