With much consideration, due to the increasing costs associated with hosting the ACT Holden Day, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s event.

Ongoing, rising costs including that of venue hire, insurances and services leave us with a minimal margin to support our partner charity, Rise Above!. As such, we have decided to cancel this years event to regroup and update our strategy, allowing us extra time to plan a bigger and better show, ensuring a fantastic experience for all involved.

While this is not the outcome we had hoped for, our commitment to hosting an unforgettable event that supports our charitable cause remains unchanged.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your ongoing support over the last 32 years to make the day a success. Over the last decade, the ACT Holden Day has raised over $30,000 for our partner charity, Rise Above! Capital Region Cancer Relief, who have been providing financial assistance to cancer patients in the Canberra and Queanbeyan region for over 30 years.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding and continued support. We hope you will continue to support Rise Above - Capital Region Cancer Relief, who provide crucial assistance to the local community for those affected by cancer.

Again we would like to thank all entrants, sponsors, vendors and spectators over the years for their support in what has been a great community event for an Australian icon.
