Phnom Penh, 24 December 2025:
The Chair and former Chairs of the Australian Alumni Association of Cambodia (AAAC) met with Australian Ambassador H.E. Derek Yip on 22 December 2025 to seek Australia’s support for a peaceful and lasting solution to the Cambodia–Thailand border conflict.

As proud Australian-educated scholars, we represent the voices of 650 Cambodian students currently studying in Australia and over 600 alumni in Cambodia. Together, we call for:
✅ An immediate end to disproportionate attacks on Cambodia
✅ A ceasefire to protect civilians and children
✅ A commitment to long-term peace for both Cambodia and Thailand

Peace is not just a diplomatic goal – it is a human necessity. Let’s stand together for dialogue, safety, and stability.
