A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a success. Events like these remind us of the value of building strong relationships and working together towards a more inclusive and united future.

Looking forward to seeing everyone this Friday for our usual BBQ!

👏 What an incredible result for the Campaign! 👏

Across Canberra, a total of 393 clients were tested for Hepatitis C throughout the campaign — a fantastic outcome that reflects the power of collaboration, community engagement, and accessible health support.

A huge thank you to for their ongoing partnership, support, and commitment in helping us achieve such strong numbers. Together, we are contributing to a healthier community through education, early testing, support, and reducing stigma around Hep C.

The success of this campaign is also thanks to for leading a bold, peer-led campaign driving progress toward hepatitis C elimination in Australia by 2030. Their advocacy and leadership continue to make a real difference within communities across the country.

This campaign showed what can be achieved when services work together with compassion, connection, and a shared goal of improving community health and wellbeing.

Thank you to everyone involved and to every person who took the step to get tested.

It was amazing to see so many passionate organisations, services, and key people all coming together for a common cause and continuing to support all communities in such meaningful ways.

We felt incredibly grateful to be part of such a special event. The collaboration, kindness, and shared commitment shown throughout the day was truly inspiring.

Today, CAHMA proudly stands alongside the LGBTQIA+ community in recognising the importance of inclusion, safety, equality, and respect for all people.

We remain committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where diversity is celebrated and people can access support without judgement.

Today is a reminder that kindness, understanding, and allyship matter — not just today, but every day.

Do you use benzos?

NCCRED, AIVL, CAHMA and Harm Reduction Victoria are running a study to better understand the experiences of people who’ve used benzodiazepines sources from dealers or online markets in the past 12 months. The study involves a short screening survey, with some people who complete screening invited to also complete a confidential 60–90-minute interview. Find out more at the link in our bio, or in the comments below!
