🍂 CASS CARE Disability Services | Persimmon Picking Day 🍅

On 7 May 2026, CASS CARE Disability Services organised a wonderful persimmon picking outing for our participants, creating an enjoyable and meaningful day in the community.

Surrounded by the beauty of nature, participants had the opportunity to hand-pick fresh persimmons, experience the joy of harvesting, and spend quality time outdoors with peers and support workers. Throughout the activity, everyone was encouraged to engage socially, build confidence, and strengthen their independence through community participation.

For many participants, this was more than just a day trip — it was a valuable life experience filled with laughter, connection, and shared memories. It was heartwarming to see everyone supporting one another and enjoying the simple pleasures of being active in the community.

At CASS CARE, we believe meaningful community engagement plays an important role in promoting wellbeing, inclusion, confidence, and quality of life for people living with disability.

Thank you to all participants, families, and staff members for making the day such a special success. We look forward to creating more wonderful memories together ❤️
