AFAIC was proud to participate in the Refugee Week Empower to Grow Career Expo 2026 at TAFE NSW Granville.

Thank you to Kateb Hazara Association, TAFE NSW, Dai Cultural Association, and all partner organisations for bringing together employers, service providers, and community members to create pathways for employment, learning, and growth.

It was wonderful to connect with so many attendees, share information about our programs, and support community members on their journey towards education, employment, and success.

🌿 Mental Health Awareness Day 2026 🌿

The Afghan Fajar Association is proud to be a partner in Mental Health Awareness Day 2026, hosted by STARTTS (Service for the Treatment and Rehabilitation of Torture and Trauma Survivors).

In the spirit of this year’s Refugee Week theme, “A Million Stories, A Million Paths to Healing,” this special event will bring together communities from diverse backgrounds to celebrate resilience, share experiences, and promote mental health and wellbeing.

We warmly invite all community members to join us for a day of connection, learning, and community spirit.

We are proud of all the attendees for taking the time to learn valuable life-saving skills that can make a real difference in our communities. Your dedication, enthusiasm, and participation made the program a great success.
