๐ŸŽ‰ Wonderful news for Campbells Forest!

The Campbells Forest Progress Association Inc. is delighted to share that we have been successful in securing funding through the Victorian Governmentโ€™s Tiny Towns Fund to support the development of an all-weather, accessible outdoor area at the Campbells Forest Hall.

This project will create a safer, more usable and inclusive space for our community - providing shade, weather protection and improved access for community events, CFA activities and gatherings.

We are also very grateful to Loddon Shire Council for supporting the project through a Community Grant, and for their ongoing support of our Hall and community. The Campbells Forest Progress Association Committee will also contribute funds toward delivering the project, reflecting our commitment to continuing to improve this much-loved community asset.

We would also like to extend our warm congratulations to our neighbours and fellow Loddon communities who were also successful in having projects funded.

We look forward to working with Regional Development Victoria and Loddon Shire Council to bring this much-needed upgrade to fruition.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this project and helped shape the future of our Hall through community planning, consultation and volunteer effort.

๐Ÿ’š A great result for Campbells Forest โ€” and a wonderful investment in small communities across the Loddon Shire.

Some interesting water infrastructure announcements from Coliban Water that may have benefits to some residents and landowners in our district! Community consultations will be held in the next couple of months and we will provide more information on these in coming posts.

This is on the agenda for discussion at tonight's General Meeting of the Campbells Forest Progress Association Inc. which will be held at the hall at 7pm, 14th May. Also on the agenda are the results of our recent community planning survey and a first draft of our new Community Plan for discussion. No surprise a secure water supply is still very much at the forefront of everyone's thinking.

All welcome to tonight's meeting, bring a plate for supper.

VALE GRAEME THOMAS

The Campbells Forest Progress Association Inc would like to express our deepest sympathies to Leah, Cain, Kym and families and Diane and family on the passing of Graeme Thomas, of one of our founding members.

We would like to acknowledge Graeme's significant contributions to the Campbells Forest community and district through his involvement in our committee, previous planning and hall committees and our CFA.

In his working life and community work he touched the lives of so many. He was a great man, friend and neighbour who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
