About our group
We are a group of ladies who like to have a cuppa, a chat and a laugh, share experiences (both good & bad), information & just be there for each ot
her & those experiencing similar journeys in the community. We share our stories, fundraise & have guest speakers at our meetings as well as organise community information nights on various breast cancer related topics. Camden Survivors of Breast Cancer Inc has been active, since its formation in 2002, in providing help and hands-on physical and emotional support and our aim continues to be able to assist the women in our area who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Some of this assistance includes help with medical and surgery costs, including
drugs not currently listed on the PBS, transport to and from treatments and providing information on services and / or options available to them. Other support and help, such as treatment costs associated with lymphoedema sleeves and massage therapy, is provided as well.
