✨FINAL AWARDS AND LAST DAY OF TERM💪🏻

60 ACU held their final night of the year, celebrating with a interactive quiz night, various board games and teamwork activities. Well done to LT(AAC) for winning the paper plan challenge. ✈️ And winning team for the quiz night included CDT Millard, CDTREC Murphy, CDT E.Edwards and CDT W.Edwards.
CDTREC murphy was recnogised by the Unit for “best cadet” of the term.

We also show our thanks and gratitude for CUO Howe, who has done a terrific job at 60 ACU as unit commander.

An information sheet will be sent home with cadets tonight and emailed out by unit staff.

Family and friends are warmly invited to attend the End of Year Parade at Derwent Barracks.
• Gates open: 1030hrs
• Parade starts: 1100hrs
• Parade concludes: 1145hrs
• Dismissal: 1200hrs

ACS appreciates your cooperation in being punctual for pick-up. We always try to stick to our timings as best as possible. After a long week, all cadets and staff are keen to get home. Your support and timely collection help everything run smoothly and ensure everyone gets home to enjoy a well-deserved rest.

📢 Bravo Company & AFX – Important Info

An email was sent yesterday to all Bravo Company cadets attending the Annual Field Exercise (AFX). Please check your inbox for key information and further details on sign-in, medication, emergency contacts, equipment requirements, and canteen info.

✅ Parents/guardians must sign cadets in at 60 ACU Cambridge on Sunday morning.
✅ Sleeping bags must be rated to -5°C.
✅ Medication rules apply – only what’s listed on cadet files.
✅ Emergency contacts must be up to date and contactable.

Tonight sees the commencement of parade nights for term 3 and our cadets are gearing up for the biggest event of the year — the Annual Field Exercise (AFX)!

This term it’s all about developing fieldcraft, leadership, and teamwork skills as we prepare for this exciting challenge alongside the rest of TAS Battalion - Headquarters Australian Army Cadets - Tasmania.
