Congratulations to four cadets from 106 Army Cadet Unit - Caloundra, who are the latest recipients of the Duke of Ed Bronze Level 👏

Since the Australian Army Cadets and the Australian Navy Cadets partnered nationally to deliver the The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award - Australia, cadets across the country have been embracing the opportunity to challenge themselves beyond the parade ground.

The Duke of Ed framework aligns strongly with cadets’ core values of integrity, service and respect, while also developing life skills such as confidence, resilience, leadership and teamwork.

By integrating the Duke of Ed into our program, the continues to empower young Australians to grow, challenge themselves, and gain recognition through a globally recognised award.

Interested in finding out how you—or your cadet—can get involved in the through Cadets? Speak with your unit OC to learn more.

ANZAC Day 2026

Cadets and staff of 106 Army Cadet Unit proudly took part in several ANZAC Day commemorations across our community. Despite the rain, our cadets marched with pride and acted with discipline, respect, and dedication.

Their perseverance in tough conditions reflects the true ANZAC spirit — courage in adversity, mateship in hardship, and service above self.

We are incredibly proud of every cadet who represented the unit today and helped honour the legacy of those who have served, and those who continue to serve our nation.

Thank you to our cadets, staff, families, and community organisations for your ongoing support.

Lest We Forget.

Congratulations to our cadets who gave up a week of their school holidays to go down and participate in the corporal leadership and instructor course. This course is their first step towards becoming future leaders not only within the program but also within the community.

A huge shout out to our senior cadets who also gave up their week to support this course and pass on their knowledge.
