🌟 Student Success Shoutout🌟

During the first week of the school holidays, Elizabeth L travelled to Toowoomba to represent the Sunshine Coast and Wide Bay region (Coastal Burners) in the Queensland Junior Cricket U15 Girls Southern Challenge Tournament.

She delivered an exceptional performance throughout the tournament, finishing as the lead run scorer and lead wicket taker for her team, and earning the title of Champion Player for the Coastal Burners. Impressively, she also ranked as the 3rd best bowler overall across the tournament, competing against 73 players from Metropolitan and South Country regions.

Despite challenging, gusty weather conditions, she demonstrated outstanding skill and adaptability as a pace bowler, expertly altering her swing to suit the conditions. Her efforts resulted in an impressive 12 wickets across just 5 matches.

Congratulations on this remarkable achievement.
Caloundra SHS is extremely proud of you and we look forward to watching your cricket journey continue! 🏏💙
