🚉 HAVE YOUR SAY ON THE FUTURE CALOUNDRA STATION! 🌳🎨🏞️

TMR has released new information about the proposed Caloundra Station design (and Beewah and Aura). Now is the community's chance to help shape what this important gateway will look and feel like.

You can now provide feedback on the proposed station precinct, including:

🌳 Natural elements and urban design
🎨 Public art opportunities
🏞️ Public spaces and parkland features
🏗️ Colour schemes

GUEST SPEAKER TOPIC: Coastal Management and Regeneration Projects – Adam Connell, Manager Environmental Operations, Sunshine Coast Council.

Adam will speak to the background and outcomes of the Shelly Beach Pilot project and Stage 2 plans. He will also talk more broadly about coastal management / regeneration approaches for Caloundra beaches/headlands.

We will also have updates on a range of topics of local interest.

🌊 Have Your Say on the Diamond Head Foreshore Draft Design

Council has released the Phase 2 draft concept design for the Diamond Head foreshore upgrades at Keith Hill Park — and this is our chance as a community to make sure the design truly reflects what locals value.

These works include a new seawall, stormwater upgrades, sand renourishment, and improved beach access, all in response to the impacts of the Bribie Island breakthrough and recent severe weather.

The draft design is now open for community feedback, and we strongly encourage all residents to take a look and share your thoughts. Your input helps shape the final outcome for this important stretch of our coastline.

Bribie Breakthrough - history, today and what next.
The final of the 5 part series – important for everyone to get a good recap of where we have been. Thanks to PPCMB for the great work. And to the amazing Ken Mewburn who has been at the forefront of research and advocacy for well over a decade on this issue.
