Share a Meal
Is truly grateful for the many kindnesses and contributions shown by our friends and supporters over the years. Special credit is due to Bonnie Lynn who served as our coordinator for 8 years through thick and thin and Covid!
We will always be grateful and thank her for her many voluntary contributions over those years,
Now that we are back up and running with the support of St Vincent De Paul Society, we will be closing out this chapter and this page.
If you are interested in helping shape our future, you are invited to volunteer through Vinnies ( just mention you are interested in Share a Meal )
You are also welcome to attend our meal
On Thursday’s starting at 4:30pm at Hapoy Valley pavilion. We would welcome your support at any time.
So in closing, just thank you ! The vision of Share a Meal continues because of all of you. Not goodbye but see you soon!

Share a Meal ( newly merged with St. Vincent de Paul Caloundra) is back in operation!
Join us at Happy Valley pavilion for tea and coffee at 4:30 pm followed by a home cooked hot dinner.

We are very pleased ( thrilled!) to announce that Share A Meal will return to weekly service on Thursday April 9 at the Happy Valley Pavilion, under the banner of St. Vincent DePaul Society.
Thank you all for your patience and support over the past several months as we worked to secure a permit from Council and negotiated the means to merge our mission into that of Vinnies.
Many thanks are due to our wonderful vendors and suppliers , who have provided hours of their time and generously of their products. We would not be here without you.
To our volunteers and coordinators and cooks who supported us over the past 25 years …..a huge thank you for helping us sustain faith and hope and belief in the mission.
The face of Share A Meal might look a little different, but we are confident that we have found the way to sustain our mission from a much stronger position.
If you are interested in being a part of this outreach, please let us know.
We would love to hear from you .
Again, many many thanks for your past support and please join us on April 9 starting at 4:30pm with tea and coffee followed by a hot home cooked meal.

To the wonderful Share a Meal community
With care and consideration, we have had to make the decision to pause meals for a short time due to ongoing challenges with administration and resourcing.
We are deeply grateful for the kindness, generosity, and support everyone has shown.
This pause is only temporary. We truly hope to be back up and running shortly and will keep you all updated along the way.

The wonderful Service Outreach team at Caloundra Catholic Parish was busy in the kitchen this week🍲💛 Cooking, serving and sharing food with our community is always such a blessing. Thank you to all the generous volunteers who make this possible!
