📢 A friendly reminder that our Caloundra Op Shop is OPEN this Friday, 12 June!
And do we have some fantastic items to tempt you in for a visit. 🤩

Whether you're heading to the Caloundra Cup 🏇 in a few weeks, have a special occasion coming up, or simply want to refresh your wardrobe, we have an incredible range waiting for you. From gorgeous dresses and stunning shoes to suits, ties and men's dress shoes, there's something for everyone. 👰🧑‍💼👔👗👠👞

We can't believe how many beautiful women's shoes have been donated recently. Every girl knows that a fabulous pair of shoes can make you feel amazing! 👠

We also have a few beautiful wedding dresses at unbeleivable prices👰.

And for the fellas, our suit jackets and suit pants are just $5 per garment. At those prices, you really can't go wrong. 🧑‍💼

The Sunshine Coast Show Day shuffle is on again 🎡😅

This Friday 12 June is the Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show public holiday for the former Maroochy Shire area, which means our Maroochydore Op Shop will be CLOSED for the day.

We’re not saying we got carried away with the giddy, heady power of making “executive decisions” while Sue is away.

We’re just saying what started as a sensible little “we should do one final push before the end of financial year” has somehow evolved into the inaugural edition of The Great Mingary Care Rummage Sale.

An event destined to become the greatest rummage sale of all rummage sales.

Of all time.

Forever and ever.

(According to us, a very official committee of people currently making executive decisions).

For one day only, the car park at our Maroochydore Op Shop is becoming rummage central — packed with pre-loved treasures, bargain-ready finds, busy volunteers and plenty of “ooh, look what I found” energy.

Plus, quite possibly, a few extra treasures we uncover before anyone asks too many questions.

Come for the bargains. Stay for the good finds. Help us send as many treasures as possible out the door before the end of financial year.

Every purchase helps fund free, short-term practical support for people who are dying, and the people around them, on the Sunshine Coast and in Gympie.

And not a tiny one.

For one day only, we’re turning the car park at our Maroochydore Op Shop into rummage central — loaded with bargains, pre-loved treasures, busy volunteers and plenty of “ooh, look what I found” energy.

It’s Saturday 20 June. Pop it in the calendar. Tell your op shop friend. Start eyeing off your supermarket-size shopping bags.

Save the date. Save your bags. 🛍️

Something big, bargainy and very rummage-worthy is coming to our Maroochydore Op Shop on Saturday 20 June!

We’re mixing things up, clearing things out, and getting ready for a day made for bargain hunters, treasure fossickers and anyone who knows the true power of a sturdy reusable shopping bag.

Today we’re sending a very heartfelt thank you and farewell to our wonderful Cath from our Warana store. 💛

Cath has been part of Mingary Care since 2012, which means she has been with us through more than 14 years of change, growth and history.

From our former Mapleton and Montville shops, through to Warana, Cath has been one of those people who simply keeps showing up — loyal, generous, kind and quietly fabulous.

There are some people who become part of the fabric of a place. Cath is absolutely one of them.

As she heads off to Bundaberg for her next chapter, we want to say thank you, Cath, for everything you’ve given, shared and been part of over so many years.

Cath’s last day at our Warana store will be Monday 8 June, so if you’re one of our Warana regulars, feel free to pop in and wish her all the very best.

You leave with our deepest gratitude, our warmest wishes and a very special place in Mingary’s story. 💛
