🐴🎉 What an amazing day at the Calliope Hack & Pony Club Gymkhana! 🎉🐴

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make today such a fantastic event. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces, great sportsmanship, and everyone getting involved throughout the day. We especially appreciate those who travelled to be with us—thank you for making the trip and supporting our club.

A heartfelt thank you to our Mane Sponsor, Aestec Services, and our Silver Sponsors, Hire A Hubby Gladstone, Toyota Material Handling, and ACCIONA. Your ongoing support of our club is invaluable, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you do to help make events like today's Gymkhana possible.

📣 GYMKHANA HOUSEKEEPING REMINDER 📣

We're looking forward to seeing everyone at our Gymkhana this Sunday the 19 July!

Please take note of the following important information:

📍 Location: 411 Racecourse Rd, Calliope, QLD 4680 (PIC # QGCL0819)
🐴 Gates open: 7:30am, enter via the third gate.
🚛 Parking: Please park all horse floats at the top of the grounds. No float parking is permitted down at the arena.
📋 Horse Health Declarations: Please hand these in at the canteen upon arrival.
✅ Gear Checker: Each club is asked to nominate one gear checker.
🪖 Gear Check: 9:00am at the arena.
🏇 March Past: 9:30am, immediately following the gear check.
🥤 Drinks: Cold drinks will be available for purchase at the arena. Cash only. Soft drinks $3 each, water and juice poppers $2 each.
🍔 Canteen: The canteen will be operating following the completion of the events, eftpos available.

Five of our members attended the Annual Alton Downs Pony Club Inc. camp over the weekend and enjoyed an action-packed few days of learning, fun, and friendship.

Throughout the camp, they participated in a wide range of activities, including cross country, cattle work, polocrosse, and horse archery.

These sessions challenged riders to develop their horsemanship skills, improve communication with their horses, and build confidence in different environments.

It was fantastic to see each rider step outside their comfort zone, try new activities, and grow in confidence over the weekend. We are incredibly proud of how they represented our club and embraced every opportunity to learn and have fun.
