This Sunday, 16 November at 2.30pm, South Coast MP Liza Butler will join us at our Picnic for Nature to talk about how Callala villages can build on their efforts to achieve a blueprint for our sustainable future. This follows Shoalhaven Council unanimously endorsing the Bawley-Kioloa-Termeil Community Strategic Plan this week.

This is a crucial step for the Callala area to establish clearly for government - before destructive development decisions are made - how much our local nature, character and heritage matters. At our July Public Forum, we heard from the Red Head Villages Association about how they created their sustainable growth plan, and brought people closer together in the process.

Callala surely has a hidden resource of knowledgeable experts and enthusiastic participants in areas like town planning, ecology, history, art, sport, food, tourism, youth and aged care.

Come along to our picnic this Sunday at Callala Bay Progress Hall and join the movement to gather our community behind creating a whole vision for Callala's future 🤗

Urgent emergency repairs will cause water outages to households in Callala Bay, Callala Beach and Myola. Residents can prepare by following guidelines during the outage.
