DIYDG - Deadly Inspiring Youth Doing Good

DIYDG - Deadly Inspiring Youth Doing Good We aim to INSPIRE, EQUIP & EMPOWER young people, their families and our community!

DIYDG was founded in 2016, by a group of empowered Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and culturally diverse young people. It has been built so that young people can inspire, equip and empower the next generation to take action that change their world. We aim to achieve our goals by providing a platform for young people to co-design and lead their own projects; support our peers; and work towards solving the problems that we face in our way.

Behind the scenes, we’ve been strengthening our foundations — taking time to reset, realign, and build the support that keeps us steady.

Not always graceful… but always together.

Because every moment — awkward or not — is an opportunity to build love and connection.

It's a day to honour the strength of Stolen Generations survivors and reflect on how we can play a part in their healing.

Georgiana and Nayila have travelled down to Naarm to attend the Women Deliver 2026 Conference, with DIYDG proudly sponsoring Nayila to take part in this opportunity ✨

“I want to learn from other First Nations women and be part of pushing change for our future generations.”
— Nayila

The week ahead will be full of powerful and empowering yarns. So far we have attended a pre‑conference on Decolonising Futures, where we were reminded to stay grounded in our purpose, honour our ancestors, and remember the legacy we’re building.

It’s already been so special to be in the room with such loving & staunch women 🤍
