We know you are all sick of surveys... but the Cairns Regional Jobs Committee has put out their first industry survey and promise this one is different!

Will you give just 5 minutes and help shape solutions to local workforce and skills shortages in our region?

This survey responds to shared workforce challenges across all industries, including skills shortages and staffing pressures. Your feedback will help identify key barriers to recruitment, retention, and skills development, and highlight priority actions to address them.

The results will support better alignment between industry needs and training, stronger workforce pipelines and more practical long-term solutions.

The Cairns Chamber of Commerce was established in 1909!
That was 117 years ago!
We were happy to share some our amazing archives with CADCAI's Heritage volunteers last week.

Thanks so much to Jen, Danielle and Jack at Cairns Chamber of Commerce for giving CADCAI Heritage Volunteers Jenni, Dorothy and Ann access to their archives. We are hoping to find references to Cairns Chinese business community in the early 1900s.
