Tomorrow we're firing up the barbie for a sausage sizzle to mark Mental Health & Belonging. George, our BBQ master, has been practising their tong-clicking all week, and frankly, the neighbours are concerned.

Come along for a snag, a yarn and a good laugh with the best crew in Cairns. Belonging tastes better with tomato sauce (onions optional, friendship compulsory).

At The Junction Clubhouse, people experiencing mental illness aren't defined by a diagnosis.

They are members.

The Junction provides a welcoming community where people can connect, build confidence, develop skills, find purpose and participate meaningfully in everyday life.

The Connection Lunch will help raise awareness of this work - and a donation from every ticket sold will go directly towards continuing the great work of The Junction.

POOR MENTAL HEALTH CAN AFFECT ANYONE

You can win Olympic Gold.

You can break world records.
