National Volunteer Week!
Today and everyday we thank our amazing volunteers who make scouting happen for our youth.

Our section leaders and adult members allow us to offer so many opportunities for young people to learn & grow, build lifelong skills and develop and test their leadership.

They take care of the fun stuff, the activities, skills development, camping, hiking, adventure!

We still have vacancies for leaders and in our Group Support Committee.

Without volunteers we can't do the things we do and our kids miss out. If you've got a little bit of time to give we absolutely would love you to get involved. Get in touch now!

This week is National Volunteer Week (18-24 May)

'Your Year to Volunteer' honours the contributions of volunteers for their meaningful involvement to Scouting and all volunteer organisations!

Without volunteers, Scouting does not happen.

A great turn out at Gordonvale today for the ANZAC march and ceremony.
It was fantastic to see Joeys, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers and Rovers from across the Cairns area come together with groups from Edge Hill to Gordonvale represented.
It is an honour to be invited to participate in this event and our youth absolutely did us proud. BRAVO

Australians gather on Anzac Day to remember and commemorate all those, past and present, who have served or died in war and on operational service.

Full uniform required including a broad brimmed hat.
Please bring a water bottle and poncho.

Meet near Gordonvale State School no later than 8:30am.
