💛 Another successful Youth Mental Health First Aid course completed! 💛

On 22–23 May, a group of dedicated participants successfully completed their Youth Mental Health First Aid training at Smithfield State High School Tropical North Learning Academy.

Over two days, participants learned practical skills to recognise and respond to mental health challenges in young people, and how to provide support when it matters most. Every person who completed the course has helped strengthen the support network for young people in our community. 🌱

A huge thank you to Rebecca Milton for facilitating such an engaging and meaningful course, and to Rotary Cairns Northern Beaches Secretary Yuliya Brandt for organising and coordinating this valuable community initiative.

We are proud to support youth programs that build safer, more connected and more informed communities. 💙

We hope you all had a fantastic day yesterday soaking up the rays and good beach vibes! What a cracker of a day and was so great to see so many community members enjoying the event together. Events like this take a lot of work behind the scenes so shoutout thank you to all who were involved on the day whether you were a market stall holder, food vendor, business, kids entertainment, in-kind supporter or volunteer.
