👇THE MAN BEHIND THE RIDE 🚴

Before thousands of riders, before millions raised, before the Cardiac Challenge became one of FNQ's most iconic events... there was one bloke with a bike and a big idea.

Peter McNally was a Cairns legend born with congenital heart problems. Instead of letting that define him, he decided to make a difference.

His idea? Ride from Cairns to Cooktown, raise some money for cardiac services, and encourage more people to get on a bike.

Simple enough, right? 😅

Fast forward to today and the Australian Retirement Trust Cardiac Challenge has become a movement. Riders come from all over Australia to tackle 333km of Far North Queensland roads, all while raising funds for the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation.

Many participants are former cardiac patients, family members, doctors, nurses, and everyday locals riding for a cause close to their hearts.

At Annie's Army, we're proud to be part of the legacy Peter created and all the help
he has given us of the years One man's idea has changed countless lives. ❤️

That's why we are in our 9th year and loving every bit of it (except that last hill into Cooktown - ain't nobody got time for that )

🌴 A massive shout out to Sam and the legends at Palooka for supporting Annie's Army once again!

Year after year, they jump on board and donate some awesome vouchers to our Monster Raffle, helping us raise funds for the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation.
