❗️WORKSHOP POSTPONED❗️
Hi all,
Our Saturday workshop has been postponed!
We will post a new date and time shortly.
Sorry for the inconvenience!

For the love of food! 🍌🍅🌱

Everyone deserves access to good, healthy, and affordable food. That’s why we’re coming together again to learn more about how food is grown and shared right here in our local community.

You’re invited to be part of this collaborative effort bringing together farmers, educators, faith groups, community organisations, and local residents. Together, we’ll explore practical ways to build food knowledge, improve health, and strengthen wellbeing in Gordonvale.

Come along, connect, and be part of the conversation!

Mission Australia would like to hear from families in our community to better understand the challenges and barriers being faced in accessing mental health support for children aged 9 to 12. The aim is to improve the mental health system and ensure that families have the tools, resources, and confidence to identify and address early signs of mental health struggles.

To help them achieve this, they are conducting a short survey to gather valuable feedback on your experiences with mental health services and the difficulties you may have encountered when seeking support for your child. Your input is crucial in identifying the barriers families face, such as difficulties in accessing services, understanding what support is available, or feeling confident in identifying when professional help is needed.

Additionally, they would like to host a round table discussion where families will have the opportunity to share their experiences, discuss the challenges identified in the survey, and explore potential solutions together. This conversation will allow them to understand better how they can create clear pathways to support and make sure that all families have access to the help they need before mental health challenges reach a crisis point.

The survey will take just a few minutes to complete, and your responses will remain completely confidential. If you are interested in participating in the round table discussion, please let them know, and they will provide more information on how you can join in.

Your feedback is incredibly important as they work together to ensure that children and families in our community receive the support they need to thrive.
