Death in custody May 1star Lotus Glen. Correctional

A 27 year old Normanton man died from supposedly died from natural Causes .

Too many su***de attempts in Lotus Glen recommendation 124 never followed .

Tragic for all Family devastated and police and prisoners traumatised. It is a death that was waiting to happen with the number in the watchhouse and the system as it is . The Royal
commission’s recommendations have been ignored or flawed and Qld 1992 response to the 339 recommendations flawed or never implemented .

Rec 124 to debrief with all after a death in custody or attempted death never carried out in our experience .

Let’s hope that those still in the watchhouse that were with her are debriefed this week .
