Time2Drive is popping up for two days at Earlville Shopping Town — you’ll find us down from Woolworths Earlville, just outside the bank.

If you’ve been:
👉 struggling to find someone to help you complete your Learner logbook hours
👉 or already licensed and thinking about giving back as a mentor

Come and have a chat with us about National Joblink’s Time2Drive Learner Driver Mentor Program, and the other programs we offer.

We’re all about connecting people — helping Learners get the hours they need, and supporting Volunteers to confidently guide and encourage the next generation of safe drivers.

🚨 Important Update from Time2Drive 🚨

To improve skills in road safety, Time2Drive Learner Drivers will now be required to complete 20 hours of reverse driving as part of their logbook 😳

This includes:
✔ Reverse roundabouts
✔ Reverse hill starts
✔ Reverse Maccas drive-thru (advanced competency)

Our Volunteers are currently undergoing specialist training. Please be patient as we transition to this new requirement.

Learning to drive is a bit like what’s happening in this video 👇

You can’t rush the process and expect great results.

When you’re supporting your learner driver, resist the urge to move on too quickly. Let them simmer and stew with the simple stuff — quiet streets, empty car parks, basic turns, smooth braking, scanning and awareness.

Confidence isn’t built in chaos — it’s built in calm, controlled repetition.

Most of the real learning happens in those early skill-building sessions. The foundations matter.

Slow is smooth. Smooth becomes safe. Safe becomes confident. 🚗💛

No Stopping zones mean no stopping — not even “just for a minute”.

Same goes for Clear Zones and Accessible Parking Spaces. These spots exist for safety, traffic flow, and people who need them.

Huge shout out to Wild Thyme on Shields Street for recognising and supporting our amazing Time2Drive Volunteers 🙌

Our volunteers give their time, patience and encouragement to help learner drivers get closer to their licence — and it means so much when local businesses show them a little love in return.

Wild Thyme are doing just that, looking after our Very Important Volunteers with a $10 brekkie + coffee deal ☕🍳
Good food, good coffee, and a well-earned moment to sit back and refuel.
