The Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture Society of Australia (CMASA) is pleased to present:

🧪 Clinical Application & Interpretation of Pathology Testing in Australia

Developed as part of the CMASA collaboration with 4Cyte Pathology, this professional training session is designed to support eligible Chinese medicine practitioners in strengthening their understanding of the Australian pathology system and the appropriate clinical use of pathology information.

📚 Key topics include:
• Australian pathology testing systems and processes
• Common pathology reports, reference ranges and interpretation
• Recognition of abnormal results and referral considerations
• Patient communication and clinical decision-making
• Professional responsibilities, patient safety and scope of practice

We’re pleased to share that the Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture Society of Australia (CMASA) has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with 4Cyte Pathology, marking an important step in strengthening collaboration between Chinese medicine practice and modern pathology services.

Under this collaboration, eligible CMASA members may apply to establish their own commercial accounts with 4Cyte Pathology and access relevant non-Medicare funded commercial pathology services, subject to 4Cyte Pathology’s application, testing, specimen collection and operational requirements.

We are also delighted to see this milestone featured in the Chinese Herald 澳洲日报 - 1688 澳洲新闻网.

We are pleased to announce that the Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture Society of Australia (CMASA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with 4Cyte Pathologyo, representing an important milestone in advancing the Traditional Chinese Medicine profession in Australia through stronger collaboration with modern pathology services.

Under this partnership, eligible CMASA - 澳大利亞中醫藥學會 members may apply directly to 4Cyte Pathology for access to agreed non-Medicare-funded commercial pathology services, subject to 4Cyte's application and approval process.

Dr Guo Qing Wei, Chief Executive Officer of CMASA, commented:
"This partnership represents an important step in expanding professional resources for our members while advancing the integration of Chinese medicine within Australia's healthcare system.
