AHHA - Australian Health Humanitarian Aid AHHA is an Australian registered Non-for-Profit charity organisation Thousand more comprehensive medical checkups and eye examinations were carried out.

Since 2003 AHHA or VVPA has undertaken 14 annual field trips to help the poor and those less fortunate in the rural areas of Vietnam and Cambodia. During the past 14 years, we have performed more than 6,900 free cataract operations in numerous areas in Vietnam and Phnom Penh of Cambodia, using the latest Phacoemulsification and Extracapsular technology from Australia - 6,228 in Vietnam and 702 in

Cambodia. We provided free medication and 100% UV protection sunglasses to each patient whom we examined. In 2011, VVPA officially broadened its scope of work to include dental treatment. Over the last 6 years - 4,806 dental treatments have been carried out for the special needs (HIV + & with medical conditions orphans) and poor children in Vietnam and Cambodia. The treatments included dental restorations and extractions. In 2015 we expanded our work into the prevention of blindness and impaired vision due to uncorrected refractive error. 480 pairs of reading glasses and 160 pairs of prescription glasses were dispensed in Cambodia.
