Creating safe spaces for healing, connection and support. 🧑

Recently, CORE clients participating in our SETS – Domestic and Family Violence Program came together for a therapeutic art therapy session focused on wellbeing, self-expression and community connection. πŸ™Œ

Participants enjoyed the opportunity to connect with others through creative activities in a safe and welcoming environment. As part of the session, CORE also distributed 30 donated blankets as a gesture of care and support.

We thank our generous donor Wrap With Love Inc and all participants who made the day so meaningful.

Last Friday, Reclink Australia was pleased to be part of the GWS Refugee Youth Sports Gala, joining hundreds of young people from across Greater Western Sydney for a day focused on sport and connection.

The event brought together schools, sporting organisations and community services, giving students the chance to connect with one another and learn about programs and support available in their local area. Australian Olympic team members were also in attendance, supporting the day and engaging with students throughout the activities.

Reclink also took the opportunity to share our FIFA Foundation Football Program and speak with young people interested in getting involved in future football activities. It was great to see so many students engaged and enjoying the chance to be active in a welcoming environment.

Thank you to CORE Community Services for the invitation and for coordinating such a well-run event, and to the many organisations, volunteers and educators who helped make the day possible.
