The flower blankets keep on keeping on!

Beautiful red crysanthamums by Jo from the Yarn Over class. What a remarkable effort producing the centre, working with all that black.
…And the first of the rosebud blankets.

Truly magnificent work being produced over our 3 Creative Crochet classes.

10 Vans at Kandanga Bowls Club. Great weather but a bit crisp through the night and early morning.
Mandatory Imbil bakery visit for the best ever vanilla slices. Imbil Hotel also on Wednesday for a group lunch .
Visits also to Kenilworth and surrounds were also enjoyed by most.
Happy hours each night and a roast chicken night in the club on Thursday complimented the week.

Numbers please of those looking at attending Woodford Showgrounds 7th - 12th September.

As diesel prices are now 12cents a litre dearer than when I first looked at costs involved in going to Bargara ,
I have decided for us not to go there at this point in time. Was also discussed at the happy hours.
Crows Nest now in October instead of November is the plan.

Lyn and I have also decided that we can't do any outing in November as we leave on the 15th for our 5 weeks cruise around Australia.
We also have Erin's 21st and Traci's birthday happening while we are away and family catch up will be done in that week.
So unless someone else wanted to organise something the next group outing will be the first week in February 2027.
Cheers
Barry

This rug was both a challenge and a marathon for Bev and with dogged persistence she crossed the finish line!
So very well done.
Bev is a relative newcomer to crochet art and we are in awe of her work.
Keep on inspiring us Bev.

Caravan Group - Boonah Showgrounds - 13 to 18th July was quite enjoyable with 7 vans. Weather was very good but got a bit windy mid week.
Meals at the Boonah Tavern were all great. Kandanga is from Monday week the 10th August to the 15th. Looking forward to it although I see the meals are a bit more than last time.
The pub also looks a good alternative to try.
A change for September is for us to go to Woodford Showgrounds now instead of Lowood Showgrounds.
And from Sunday the 6th to Friday the 11th as a Gymkhana is starting on the weekend.
Could I get some indication of your possible attendance please ASAP.
Bargara in October is also a concern at the moment. Thoughts please. The distance is 331Km.
Fuel to go up and back is likely to be around $250 allowing $2.40 / litre and 16 litres per 100km as an average.
Grass sites are $61 and slabs $71 per night and $5/night cheaper if a Discovery Park member.
With meals and sundries it could be quite an expensive 5 nights.
If we were to go we would probably do a free camp night going up and also coming back Cheers Barry
