Caboolture U3A Caboolture U3A offers social activities and classes on a range of topics for people of Caboolture and surrounding suburbs. Join us today!

Caboolture U3A is a self-funded non-profit organisation staffed entirely by volunteers. We offer a wide range of intellectually stimulating activities for people who are no longer in full time employment. We aim to promote healthy aging by sharing educational, creative and leisure activities provided by our own members. We provide a friendly, stress free environment to learn and socialise with other 3rdAgers in our community. We hold classes in Languages, Arts, Craft, Yoga, Tai Chi, Line Dancing, Games and Sports to name a few.

CALLING ALL CROCHETERS AND KNITTERS
Our Creative Crochet classes donate to quite a few charities, and the need is growing to the point that we need to enlist your help please. After your amazing response for donations of beanies and booties, your generosity is again requested.
The Caboolture Hospital Children’s ED would welcome an ONGOING supply of soft toys for the kids. These can be your own pattern or the Trauma Teddy, whichever you prefer.
Only one restriction – please NO Buttons or Safety Eyes – these present a risk for the littlies. Printed patterns for both crochet and knit Trauma Teddy are available at the Riverside Cottage Office during Office Hours, or if it makes life a little easier, please send a request for your preference to [email protected]
Your creations can be dropped at The Riverside Cottage Office during Office Hours, knowing the smiles they will generate and the tears they will chase away.
With my thanks Robyn Creative Croch

CRAFT STALL
Yes, Especially for You
Our relocation is on track and will be costly, with the need to supply furniture and fittings to our new space.
With 800 plus Members, we can all do just a small amount to assist!!
Beginning in Term 4 2026, and at each “End of Term” functions, we will be holding a Craft Stall.
A win/win for all, giving an outlet for our crafts. This will give an opportunity to purchase gifts for family and friends (or even for yourself), and more importantly, funds received will go towards our big move.
So, what’s your poison? Tapestry, Woodturning, Sculpture, Macrame, Art, Gardening? Perhaps you possibly dabble in a bit of Glassblowing???
Please, all donations should be costed by yourselves at a reasonable price. Your talents are endless, waiting to be tapped and will be greatly appreciated.
You can drop all donations at the Riverside Cottage during Office Hours.
Please consider donations of your craft.

We're planting the seeds for our brand new Garden Club, starting in 2027 and we're on the hunt for a donated water container/s to help keep our future plants hydrated!
Take a peek at the picture below - if you have something similar lying around that you'd like to donate, we'd be so grateful.
Please contact U3A on 0481 757-660 (after term resumes) or Dolores on 0404-094-125.

The holidays are coming up and maybe you will have a little more time on your hands.
So, in preparation, before our office closes for the break, the Pattern for both crocheted and knitted Teddy is now available in written form from our office.
The kiddies from Caboolture Children’s Ed thank you.
