🎉 WELL, THAT’S A WRAP… QHR2026 IS NOW CLOSED! 🎉
After months of planning, preparation and anticipation, the 2026 Queensland Heritage Rally has come to an end.
What a fantastic three days it has been!
On behalf of the organising team, we would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make QHR2026 possible.
🚜 TO OUR EXHIBITORS — THANK YOU!
To every exhibitor who loaded up their machinery, vehicles, engines, motorcycles and displays and travelled to Stanthorpe — thank you for sharing your pride, passion and knowledge with us.
Whether you travelled a few kilometres or many hundreds, your participation is what makes the Queensland Heritage Rally what it is.
Thank you for bringing the machinery to life, sharing its history and talking with visitors about the stories behind your exhibits.
👏 TO OUR SPECTATORS — THANK YOU!
Thank you to everyone who walked through the gates, explored the displays, watched the demonstrations, enjoyed the entertainment, supported our food vendors and local makers, and helped create such a wonderful atmosphere.
Your interest and enthusiasm make all the hard work worthwhile!
⭐ A VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU
A very special shout-out must go to the host - Stanthorpe Historic Vehicle & Machinery Group Inc.
Hosting an event of this size takes an enormous amount of work, commitment and dedication. To the members who planned, organised, prepared, set up, packed down, solved problems, answered questions and kept everything moving — thank you.
And to the incredible volunteers and community groups who gave their time, energy and expertise before, during and after the rally — this event simply could not happen without you.
🙏 THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS & SUPPORTERS
We also extend our sincere thanks to those who supported QHR2026:
🔹 ACRA (Qld) Inc. — for its sponsorship, support and stewardship of the Queensland Heritage Rally.
🔹 Southern Downs Regional Council — for supporting the event and helping showcase the Southern Downs region.
🔹 Stanthorpe T Model Shed — for supporting the rally and helping celebrate our motoring heritage.
🔹 Southern Downs Photography — for supporting the event and helping capture the machinery, people and atmosphere of QHR2026.
🔹 R&R on the Ravine — for supporting the rally and welcoming visitors to the Granite Belt.
And thank you to Ringmasters Cafe, Rotary Club of the Granite Belt and Nonna Makes for helping keep everyone fed and refreshed throughout the event.
We also acknowledge Markets in the Mountains and the Stanthorpe Crafters and Hobbyists Association Inc. for bringing the Pop-Up Artisan Alley to the rally on Sunday and adding another wonderful dimension to the weekend.
❤️ AND FINALLY…
The Queensland Heritage Rally is about much more than old machinery.
It is about people.
People who preserve it.
People who restore it.
People who operate it.
People who research its history.
People who share their knowledge.
And people who volunteer their time so that future generations can experience it.
To everyone who played a part in QHR2026 — THANK YOU!
From the organisers, exhibitors and volunteers to the spectators, sponsors, community groups and supporters…
